Trust the real estate? Sam Hinkie is trying to sell his home to Bryce Harper.
After Harper signed a 13-year deal with the Phillies and talked at length in his introductory press conference about growing a family in the area, former General Manager and President of Basketball Operations of the Philadelphia 76ers, Sam Hinkie, sent a Tweet directed to Harper to buy his actual home in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Zillow lists the house for sale for $2.6 million, right about the same price Harper paid for his Las Vegas-area pad, and it’s a 32-minute drive from his new place of employment. The house has a total of five bedrooms and seven bathrooms and boasts some very elegant living room and dining room spaces. In the photos on the website Sam Hinkie linked to (click here), you can see it’s actually his home with Hinkie’s initials on pillows and the names of his children in their rooms and on their cubbies.
It’s a beautiful home, but it’s a little different than Harper’s current residence (see photos), so he may be looking for something a bit different.
Either way, this tweet caught the eye of a lot of people, who had fun responding to Hinkie, who is very deliberate with his social media use.
We’re guessing Harper won’t take Hinkie up on the offer, but we trust that Bryce will put that $330 million to good use on a beautiful home for his family.
