John Middleton had a pretty remarkable 29-minute session with the media Saturday night to discuss Matt Klentak's stepping down as Phillies GM.
Middleton spoke early about the Phillies' 100-year problem of evaluating talent and ended by stating plainly that he was on board with the Sixto Sanchez-for-Realmuto trade only under the expectation that the Phillies would extend Realmuto.
