Sixers rookie Matisse Thybulle earned some praise for his defensive prowess earlier this week when he snagged an All-Defense Second Team vote, a good sign for his first year in the league.
But Thybulle really gained notoriety this summer as a master of YouTube, after he started vlogging his experiences in the NBA Bubble and his channel took off.
Thybulle racked up 395,000 subscribers and more than 8 million views on his nine-part series from the NBA's unique Orlando venture, and he landed on Good Morning America, The Tonight Show, and more to talk about his obvious knack for vlogging. He featured Sixers teammates and other NBA stars in the videos.

In an interview with SNY's Ian Begley, Sixers forward Kyle O'Quinn talked about how Thybulle's always-recording mentality was received by Sixers players - and the rest of The Bubble.
"We knew he was a camera guy. He took pictures, me and him had plenty of conversations pictures, cameras, equipment and stuff. He has some really good stuff, up to the level of the social media team. To see him with a camera wasn't too far-fetched.
"The first day we got back he had his camera out the whole time, and you've got to think: guys have been sitting at home for three months, you wouldn't mind a little camera on you here or there, talking a little crap with your fellas on the plane. We kind of got used to it.

"And you'd see people in The Bubble kind of gravitating to him with the camera. Russell Westbrook comes over, [Thybulle] has the camera out, and [Westbrook] goes, 'What's up? No, I don't care if you have the camera rolling.' And then we just do our thing."
It's pretty cool that everyone started rolling with it, even the normally-camera-averse Westbrook. I didn't even think about how these guys have had cameras in their face for years, even decades for some, and it might get weird being out of the limelight for so long.
Westbrook's cameo came in Thybulle's sixth episode, when the Rockets guard and the Sixers' Tobias Harris hilariously recounted a gambling mishap:
