Unlike last season, when the NBA released its schedule in two halves to account for postponed games during the COVID-19 pandemic, the league put out the entire 82-game slate for each team on Friday.Â
The Sixers' 2021-22 season will start with a road game on Oct. 20 against the Pelicans.Â
Here is the team's full schedule:
Other notable early-season games include matchups with the Nets on Oct. 22 at Wells Fargo Center, against the defending champion Bucks on Nov. 9 and at the Celtics on Dec. 1.
The Sixers also released their preseason schedule on Friday:
- Oct. 4Â at Toronto, 7 p.m. ETÂ
- Oct. 7Â vs. Toronto, 7 p.m. ETÂ
- Oct. 11 vs. Brooklyn, 7 p.m. ETÂ
- Oct. 15 at Detroit, 7 p.m. ETÂ
The Sixers went 49-23 last season, finishing with the Eastern Conference’s No. 1 seed for the first time since 2001, before losing to the Hawks in the second round of the playoffs.
Their 29-7 home record was the best in the conference, and the team’s 20-16 road mark was its best away winning percentage since the 2002-03 season.Â
NBA training camps are set to begin on Sept. 28.Â
