Soul devastate Gladiators, remain undefeated through 10 games

Through 10 games this season, the Soul remain unblemished in their title defense.

The Soul, who already clinched a home playoff game last week, ran roughshod past the Cleveland Gladiators, 58-28, at Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday, bringing a 10-0 record into their bye week.

“We made a lot of mistakes on offense tonight, but we will take the win” Soul head coach Clint Dolezel told PhiladelphiaSoul.com.  “It will be good to take the bye week to rest up and prepare for the final stretch of the season.”

Soul QB Dan Raudabaugh threw for 256 yards and six touchdowns while completing 18 of 33 passes. WR Shaun Kauleinamoku had six catches for 143 yards and three touchdowns while Darius Reynolds had six catches, 57 yards and one TD. Ryan McDaniel also had six recpetions for 56 yards and the other two touchdowns.

The Soul raced out to a 21-0 lead. The Gladiators cut it to 42-28 by the end of the third quarter, but the Soul shut them out with a 16-0 score and two interceptions in the final period. 

After a bye week, the Soul face the Baltimore Brigade on the road on July 8 before returning home on July 15.
