The 6-foot-6 wing is having the most productive season of his career, averaging 12.9 points and 4.9 rebounds. He’s shot 40 percent from three-point range.

Robinson’s father, Glenn “Big Dog” Robinson, was a perennial 20 point per game scorer during his prime and was a Sixer during the 2003-04 season.

GM Elton Brand will hope Robinson can provide offense for the Sixers’ second unit. The team’s bench is 28th in the NBA in scoring.

Though Robinson isn’t a splashy addition, the Sixers likely envision him as someone who can help them in an area where they've been weak and marginally lessen the responsibilities on other bench players.
