The 13 Philly-inspired ornaments you need this year

The 13 Philly-inspired ornaments you need this year

If you live in Philadelphia or the surrounding area, it's safe to say there's at least one ornament on your tree representing the city — whether it be a memento from a previous championship Philly has seen, famous landmarks or even the skyline, you're repping one way or another.

Throw everything you thought you knew about Philly ornaments out the window and make way for Jawnaments ... yes, you read that correctly.

Jawnaments. I swear, there is no place like Philadelphia.

Jawnaments is an Etsy shop that has been around since 2017 but they recently released a ton of non-traditional Philadelphia-inspired ornaments. And they're a thing of beauty.

Can you only function throughout the week because of the daily coffee you grab at Wawa and want to highlight that on your tree this year? They've got you covered.

Haven't received a parking ticket in the city in a while and just miss the stress and anxiety they bring with them? Yup, they've got that covered too.

The Tastykake Krimpet and Kandy Kake ornaments look good enough to eat ... even a classic soft pretzel with yellow mustard is an option.

And since Gritty is just about everywhere in the world ... it he. On an ornament. Oh sorry, *Jawnament.

Trust me, there are a ton of other options but you're just going to have to check out the full shop to see the beauty of it all.

You might even have to get a mini tree that's dedicated to the city you know and love. Heck, keep it up all year!

Redskins fans are getting a special Eagles-themed surprise at Wawa

Redskins fans are getting a special Eagles-themed surprise at Wawa

Is Wawa taking it to new levels of trolling in D.C.?

After the Eagles came back in convincing fashion for a Week 1 win over the Redskins, it looks like fans in Redskins territory are not quite done hearing from the Eagles yet. And no, we’re not talking about when the Birds face off against the Redskins again on Dec. 15.

According to a post on social media, customers in the D.C. area are getting served their custom hoagies in "Fly Eagles Fly" themed sandwich paper. Look at this post from Twitter user Vince Coglianese, in all it’s glory.

I guess the Eagles, Wawa and Philadelphia won this week. And they’re not going to let the Redskins forget it.

Wawa, you a real one for this.

Wawa is cheating on us with the Baltimore Ravens

Wawa is cheating on us with the Baltimore Ravens

Excuse me, Wawa. You did what?

Apparently, our favorite corner sandwich shop/convenience store/gas station — you know, the one we defend to all of our out-of-town relatives, the one we swear by, the one to which we’ve pledged our undying allegiance — is cheating on us. With the freakin’ Baltimore Ravens.

In an apparent attempt to dethrone Royal Farms in the Maryland area, Benedict Wawa has become the “official hoagie” of the Baltimore Ravens. This is like if your girlfriend cheated on you and then bragged about it on social media.

Baltimore will never love you the way we do! They don’t even understand you!

Thanks to the Baltimore Sun, here’s what Adam Schall, Wawa’s director of store operations for Maryland (and traitor), said in a statement:

"Wawa is thrilled to partner with the Ravens to make deeper connections with some of the best fans in football and reach communities all over the city of Baltimore and beyond.”

Some of the best fans in football? How dare you, sir.

Anyway, it appears that Wawa is pushing hard in that area, expecting to add five more stores in Maryland next year, according to the Sun, so it makes sense that it would team up with the local football team. It doesn’t mean it hurts any less.

But Sielski is still wrong.
