Brawl at Eagles tailgate leaves at least 1 fan bloodied

A large brawl was reported in the parking lots Sunday prior to the NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia, where the Eagles are hosting the Vikings.

NJ.com posted photos of a bloody fan who they say was an Eagles fan and was fighting with police officers.

"It is not clear at this point what started the fight, which took place around 3 p.m. EST in Lot M by the Eagles' home stadium. The brawl got so out of control that six horses were called to the scene in an attempt to control the crowd," per Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks.

Police on horses can be seen in the photos. Just last week a different Eagles fan was arrested for punching a horse and assaulting a cop outside of the Linc.

Kickoff for the NFC Championship is set for 6:40 p.m. This latest incident should certainly fuel the national media's portrayal of Philadelphia as an ugly sports town.

The below video was also posted to YouTube of the aftermath of much of the mayhem.
