On a court littered with ads for a brand of pasta, Dario Saric's performance on Saturday was al dente.

Delicious, well-done pasta puns aside, the point of this whole thing is Saric, the Sixers' international man of mystery, was great for Croatia in its victory over Greece in a FIBA Olympic qualifier.

He poured 16 points and added eight assists in Croatia's 66-61 win.  He was smooth, showing off his jump-shooting touch and the ability to drive the ball to the hoop. Greece is no joke, either, as it features Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, whom you may affectionately know as "The Greek Freak."

Check out Saric's highlight reel from the game below:

This may shock you, but Saric's name was again a popular one around the local sports scene this weekend.

First, there was another report from an European outlet quoting him saying he intends to sign with the Sixers soon (see story). Then the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Sunday that Saric is "expected" to head to the Vegas summer league at some point to sign his deal. Bryan Colangelo then appeared on the Sixers-Bulls telecast Sunday night and again used the word "hopefully" when referring to Saric.

Got all that?

Yeah, my head hurts, too. It's like a soap opera. What do you guys like better for a title, "Days of our Dario" or "The Dario and the Restless?"
