DeSean Jackson rings Sixers' ceremonial pregame Liberty Bell, soaks in love from fans

If you want to soak in some adulation from the good, sports-loving people of Philadelphia, there is one thing you need to do — ring the Sixers' ceremonial Liberty Bell before a game.

Wearing a backwards Sixers cap, DeSean Jackson did exactly that prior to the Sixers' matchup Friday night vs. the Kings.

Jackson, acquired by the Eagles in a trade with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, is seeking a storybook ending to his career by returning to the place where it all started for him (see story).

Thursday's introductory press conference was a nice, formal way to introduce the new version of Jackson back to Philadelphia fans. But ringing the bell makes the whole thing real. It's not a dream — DeSean Jackson is back in Philly.
