The city of Philadelphia had 2018 on the brain on Sunday night.
It was a year ago this weekend when the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52 in truly enjoyable fashion to start a party on Broad Street that we'll never forget.
Sadly, the only Eagle to appear on our television this Super Bowl Sunday was the Walter Payton Man of the Year winner in Chris Long. Props to that champioin.
Then there was the snoozer of a game that ended with Tom Brady doing what he failed to do a year ago -- hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
But the night wasn't all for naught.
Gritty brought his A-game. He did so in a string of fantastic tweets that captured the spirit of a nation bored by a football game.
I’m bored. #SBLlll

A Super Bowl 52 hero was also bored as can be by this year's game. I think the Los Angeles Rams may have been sleeping too.
