The Hall of Fame is selling so much awesome Brian Dawkins swag

The Hall of Fame is selling so much awesome Brian Dawkins swag

Brian Dawkins. Pretty good football player. Even better person. He's going into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend, have you heard?

Our NBC Sports Philadelphia team is out in Canton, Ohio, ahead of this weekend's big festivities and they've gotten a look at some of the sweet B-Dawk swag the throngs of loyal Philadelphia Eagles fans can pick up while they're out in Ohio.

I never knew I needed a mug with Brian Dawkins on it before today. But now I most certainly do.

Birds fans who aren't able to make the pilgrimage this weekend out to Canton, they can still purchase much of this gear on the Hall of Fame's website.

Plenty of cool Dawk t-shirt options.

Pint glasses great for pickle juice drinking.

A helmet fit for the Hall of Fame.

Dawk's signature on a football is going to cost you though.

A hat is probably more reasonable.

A wall hang that's perfect for your office, basement bar, or Brian Dawkins shrine in your bedroom.

First look at Jimmy Butler's new player edition sneakers

First look at Jimmy Butler's new player edition sneakers

As the points continued to pile up in last night’s Eagles game, Philly sports fans kept saying one thing over and over again.

We have Jimmy Butler.

Picked up in a trade last weekend, Butlermaina has taken Philadelphia by storm and his game-winning triple against the Hornets has put lighter fluid to an already raging fire. While we don’t exactly expect sales of minivans to shoot through the roof, his jersey and his new shoes will be hot items for anyone who Trusts the Process this holiday season.

While the shoe is not out for official release just yet, we’ve got an idea what it looks like.

They’re pretty dope, but there’s one issue, the color. Sneakerbardetroit.com has been posting updates about an upcoming Air Jordan NBA Pack since Nov. 1, before Butler was traded. The Air Jordan NBA Pack includes the Air Jordan 6 “Jimmy Butler” in diffused blue, which resembles the midnight blue worn in Minnesota. While these are not considered to be a Jimmy Butler signature sneaker, these will be his first player edition Air Jordan's as a member of the Sixers.

In fact, Washington Wizards forward Jeff Green has already been pictured wearing Butler’s shoe, although he has not worn it in a game yet.

These bad boys will set you back $190 upon their expected release of Dec. 22, we just hope to see Nike call an audible and make them available in colors more appropriate for fans of his current team.

Malcolm Jenkins explains why he flipped off Sean Payton

Malcolm Jenkins explains why he flipped off Sean Payton

The New Orleans Saints had their way with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday to the tune of a 48-7 victory (see Roob's observations).

The frustration clearly boiled over for the Eagles players, including safety Malcolm Jenkins, who was caught on camera giving the finger in the direction of his former head coach Sean Payton.

Jenkins was beaten badly on a 4th-and-7 play when New Orleans was up big in the second half. Jenkins was caught one-on-one with Saints running back Alvin Kamara, who beat him for a 37-yard touchdown.

NBC Sports Philadelphia's John Clark spoke to Jenkins exclusively following the incident and asked him about it. You can watch that video above.

"I'm a competitor. I love Sean to death. I know what type of guy and coach he is. That was more so personal between me and him," Jenkins told Clark.

"We talked after the game. It's all good. I know Sean. They're going to go for it. I was more so upset that it was on me," Jenkins said. "I got a lot of respect for what they're doing, especially Sean."

Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz both also spoke to the media following the game, saying they were excited to go back to work following Sunday's loss. That makes two of us.
