While NFL free agency does not officially begin until Thursday at 4 p.m., the legal tampering period has started and people on social media are getting nuts.
The Eagles have been reportedly linked with nearly every wide receiver on the market and things got particularly weird Tuesday with free-agent WR Kenny Britt.
It all started with a tweet.

So, it's happening, right? Not so fast -- Britt's agent, Fadde Mikhail, chimed in.

Remember, Britt is from Bayonne, New Jersey, and went to Rutgers.
This is a good reminder that, while a lot of things will be posted and reported over the next few days, until players can officially sign with teams on Thursday at 4 p.m., remember to consider the source and take everything you see with a grain of salt.
