Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles aren't just the talk of the town, they're the darlings of the country with a chance to take down Bill Belichick and the evil Patriot empire in the Super Bowl.
After his absolutely dominating performance in the NFC Championship game and unpredictable journey to the Super Bowl, Nick Foles graces this week's cover of Sports Illustrated.
It's not the first time Foles has had the honor of appearing on the cover of SI as quarterback of the Eagles. Remember all of those glorious photos from the Snow Bowl.
The story that appears to accompany the photo of Foles by Andy Benoit is titled "How the Eagles' backup plan became a Super Bowl blueprint."
The cover also includes a brief timeline of Foles' wild journey: 2013: Philly's QB of the future, 2016: Nearly quit football, 2018: Super savior.
Oh, and a guy named Tom Brady also gets his own cover. That story, unlike the Eagles one, appears to be online now.
