No, you ring that bell, Brett Brown!

Brett Brown just wanted to congratulate his team.

He applauded his bunch for capitalizing in two key areas he harped on pregame prior to the Sixers' 112-106 win over the Spurs on Wednesday (see observations).

He shared his appreciation for Joel Embiid playing through a sprained right hand (see story).

And then he got to Ben Simmons. He praised his point guard for getting to the charity stripe (10 for 15) just like Simmons did so often in his one college season at LSU.

"Ben Simmons, I said, 'Go be LSU, go shoot a ton of (expletive) free throws,' and you did," Brown said in a video tweeted out by the Sixers' official account. "Ring this bell, Ben Simmons."

Brown was holding a mini bell for a nice ring to celebrate the victory. Maybe this is becoming a tradition in the Sixers' locker room after wins?

Anyway, the entire team quickly stopped Brown in his tracks. This one was for him after beating his mentor, Gregg Popovich, for the first time in his career.

Brown, clearly beloved by his players, smiled at the gesture.

Enjoy the cool moment below:

Meanwhile, Embiid delivered his own message, too:
