We've heard so much about Nolan Patrick's vision and passing ability.
Now we know why.
Patrick on Tuesday delivered the first jaw-dropping highlight of his NHL career when he slickly dropped a pass through his legs for a trailing Dale Weise, who finished the play with the Flyers' fourth second-period goal of the night (see observations).
You can watch the play in the video above … and just, wow.
Patrick, only 19 years old, does it so naturally and without even looking — at all — in Weise's direction.
Some Flyers were seen on the bench smiling in amazement of the teenager.
And it probably won't be the only time.
Before Doug Pederson was an underdog, he was a longshot.
Thanks to some super sleuthing from some folks on Reddit, specifically u/nosefinger1, it has been uncovered that Doug Pederson and his Calvary Baptist Academy football team made a brief appearance in the movie “The Longshots.”
Since we don’t condone piracy, here are some screenshots.
That has to be Doug, right? If you needed more proof, u/dr_rex uncovered some more info.
The movie, starring Ice Cube and directed by Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst, came out in 2008 and was a pretty significant box office flop. Perhaps they could have given the future Super Bowl-winning head coach a bigger role.
The Eagles are still the reigning Super Bowl champs and these people want everyone driving behind them to know it.
Some people will decorate their house, others got tattoos, but people on Twitter started sharing their custom license plates today and they’re spectacular.
Here’s a few.
Bravo, Eagles fans.
If you have a license plate you’d like to show off, too, send it to us!
