Patriots fan donates kidney to Eagles fan

Like when the football started in Tom Brady's hand and ended up in the possession of Derek Barnett in the Super Bowl, there's a kidney with a similar tale.

Patricia Pizzimenti, a longtime Eagles fan, was in need of a kidney and found her a match from a guy, John Houlihan, with the fandom of the Super Bowl foe. Most things look better in green, I'd say.

Pizzimenti, being a good Philly sports fan, had t-shirts made to poke fun at the Patriots donor.

"Apparently my sense of humor transferred with my kidney," Houlihan said, laughing, "and Patricia decided to remind me that the Patriots lost the Super Bowl."

And all is well that ends well like Super Bowl LII (The Eagles won).
