There's a Gritty parody of ‘Love Actually'

If we told you that the Flyers' loveable new mascot Gritty would star in a parody of one of the greatest Christmas movies of all-time, you'd likely be totally stoked to see the big orange guy running around an airport and blowing stuff up in "Die Hard."

Alas, nobody has produced that yet.

But Gritty did get a starring role in ESPN's remake of the cult classic "Love Actually," featuring none other than Katie Nolan, host of "Always Late with Katie Nolan."

It's a rather unique but incredibly accurate premise in which Gritty plays the role of a know-it-all Twitter user talking to Nolan about why her tweet was wrong, Gritty-splaining if you will.

I'm not sure what the crossover between "Love Actually" fans and hardcore sports Twitter fans who are well aware of this phenomenon are, but they nailed it with this "Well, Actually" bit.

Come back next Christmas to see Gritty starring in a hit television show about zombies.
