Tom Brady dropped a pass in the Super Bowl and the New England Patriots lost to the Eagles.
It was hard on the legendary quarterback.
Brady visited Stephen Colbert's Late Show on Monday night to talk about the tough defeat.
Colbert asked Brady how he dealt with the loss.
"Cry. Mostly cry," Brady said. "You can't win them all."
"Actually when you wake up the next morning, you're like, 'was that a nightmare?!'"
On the contrary, it was a dream come true for Philly fans.
You can enjoy the whole segment below. Brady also tried a strawberry for the first time and chugged a beer. So there's hope for him yet. (In all honesty, as a Philadelphian, Brady actually comes across very likeable!)
OK, so the caption of Fox Sports Southwest's video is maybe a little misleading.
"The absolute CUTEST thing you will see this Fathers Day is Cole Hamels having tea with his daughter!" the caption reads.
I'm guessing that, if you're a dad, the cutest thing you'll see this Father's Day is your own kid(s).
But man, this is an adorable video.
Former Phillie (and 2008 World Series MVP) Cole Hamels and his wife Heidi adopted five-year-old Reeve, one of their four children, from Ethiopia as a baby after she was abandoned at birth, found alone in a field by the police and placed in an orphanage. In the video, she asks Cole a series of rapid-fire questions and looks like she's having an absolute blast hanging out with her dad. So does Cole.
"If you were retired, what would you do?" Reeve asks.
"How 'bout I'd just like to be a dad, would that be good?" Hamels responds.
If you have the Internet, you have probably seen this video of 6-foot-10, 12-year-old basketball phenom Olivier Rioux yesterday. What you might not have seen are these hilarious reactions by Joel Embiid and Steph Curry.
For those of you who somehow missed the video, here it is.
Joel Embiid, your thoughts?
I can’t imagine the joy Embiid had watching this video. As someone who has, as recently as this month, dribbled a basketball off someone’s face, swatted young fans shots during promotional events and joked about dunking on 5-2 trainers, Embiid had to have enjoyed this video more than anyone. He is also one of the best trash-talkers in the game, so his comment about Rioux staring down and trash-talking his opponents is pure gold.
Steph Curry also had his say, which is what we were all thinking.
Not for nothing, Rioux shows off a few good post moves in the video and some range as well. Just imagine how much fun it must be to be allowed to play as hard as you can against opponents that you’re able to completely dominate. Obviously, things will change for the youngster when he graduates to taller rims and taller opponents, but for now, this video is awesome and I hope we haven’t seen the last of this Canadian wonderkid.
