Philadelphia's own Will Smith was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night to help promote his new movie Collateral Beauty and found himself chatting about what it's like to own part of an NBA team.
"There is nothing, in like all of entertainment, than to walk into the building when it's announced that you're a part owner of your hometown basketball team," Smith said. "That is ridiculous. If the team doesn't win, it sucks later."
How does Smith deal with all the losing the 76ers are goin through?
"I live in L.A. though so it's cool. I go home when we winning."
What do they say about the weather in L.A.? It's fair.
Will mentioned his visit with the team before this season started and talked about how his message was to just keep it all together, don't let anything pull you off course.
Smith also notes that when he met the team, nine of the players weren't even born when the Fresh Prince of Bel Air came out. He old.
Unrelated, he told a story about needing to borrow $10 from a random fan at a gas station to put some fuel in his tank. Get it together, Will.
