In advance of the LPGA’s first major championship of 2016, ANA Inspiration, Hall-of-Famers Judy Rankin and Annika Sorenstam, Major Champion Karen Stupples, two-time Solheim Cup participant and Palm Desert resident Nicole Castrale and Golf Channel LPGA analyst Jerry Foltz will take questions from the media in previewing the championship.

Sorenstam, a three-time winner at this event at Mission Hills (2001, 2002 and 2005) will join Golf Channel’s live tournaments team as lead analyst during early tournament coverage of the ANA Inspiration on Thursday and Friday, March 31 and April 1. Rankin, a 26-time LPGA Tour winner and 1976 champion (then known as the Colgate-Dinah Shore Winner’s Circle), will be Golf Channel’s lead analyst during afternoon coverage on Thursday and Friday as well as weekend coverage. Stupples, 2004 Women’s British Open champion, will serve as an on-course reporter at ANA Inspiration, a tournament in which she compiled five top-20 finishes over her career, highlighted by a fifth place finish in 2010. Castrale, a two-time Solheim Cup participant and Palm Desert resident, will be a studio analyst for Golf Channel’s news coverage during tournament week. Foltz, a longtime Golf Channel analyst, will join Stupples as an on-course reporter.

Golf Channel has exclusive, live tournament coverage of ANA Inspiration, airing more than 20 live hours from Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., Thursday, March 31-Sunday, April 3. Additional tournament programming during the week will include news conferences on Tuesday and Wednesday, a one-hour Pro-Am show airing in primetime on Wednesday, as well as wrap-around news coverage provided by Golf Central for each tournament day.
