Independence Hall opened his career impressively, with three wins from his first three starts, but suffered his first career defeat in the Sam F. Davis Stakes (G3) at Tampa Bay Downs last month. Gouverneur Morris, second in the Breeders’ Futurity (G1) at Keeneland, is another top contender.
Coverage of the Florida Derby will be streamed live on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs.
