STAMFORD, Conn. – November 28, 2022 – NBC Sports’ primetime Thanksgiving and Sunday NFL presentations combined to register the most watched two-game Thanksgiving weekend since 2015, averaging a Total Audience Delivery of 23.4 million viewers, based on preliminary data, across NBC TV, Peacock, NBC Sports Digital, and NFL Digital platforms.
Last night’s game, a 40-33 Eagles victory over the Packers which featured Philadelphia QB Jalen Hurts becoming the first player in more than 70 years with 150+ yards rushing, 150+ yards passing, and multiple scoring passes, averaged approximately 21.0 million viewers.
Three days earlier, Patriots-Vikings averaged 25.9 million viewers – marking the second-most watched primetime NFL Thanksgiving game ever.
Last weekend’s two-game average tops by 24% last year’s holiday weekend viewership (18.9 million).
Viewership figures are based upon preliminary data from Nielsen and Adobe Analytics. Official national data for NBC will be available later this week.
