Saturday’s Manchester Derby Marks 20th Time NBC Sports will Present the Historic Fixture

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 11, 2023 – Two massive derby fixtures highlight Premier League action across NBC Sports this weekend as PL leading goal scorer Erling Halaand and second-place Manchester City visit Marcus Rashford and fourth-place Manchester United in the Manchester Derby this Saturday, Jan. 14, at 7:30 a.m. ET on USA Network and Telemundo. Then on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on Peacock, Tottenham host first-place Arsenal in the North London Derby.
Manchester City defeated Chelsea, 1-0, in their most recent Premier League match on Jan. 5. Manchester United has won all three of their matches since returning from the World Cup break, including a 3-0 win against Bournemouth on Jan. 3. Saturday’s Manchester Derby marks the 189th edition of the historic matchup and the 20th time NBC Sports will present the fixture. Peter Drury and Graeme Le Saux will call the action live from Old Trafford.
Arsenal drew Newcastle, 0-0, on Jan. 3 and sit five points ahead of Manchester City for first place. Tottenham defeated Aston Villa, 4-0, on Jan. 4 as Harry Kane scored two goals. Drury and Lee Dixon will call the action live from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
This week’s coverage begins tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 12, with Premier League Live at 2 p.m. ET on Peacock, followed by Fulham hosting Chelsea at 3 p.m. ET (Peacock). On Friday, Leeds United visit Aston Villa at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network and Universo.
Saturday’s coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings on USA Network, followed by the Manchester Derby (7:30 a.m. ET on USA Network and Telemundo).
Four matches will be presented live at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday: Everton v. Southampton (USA Network, Universo), Wolverhampton Wanderers v. West Ham (Peacock), Brighton & Hove Albion v. Liverpool (Peacock), and Nottingham Forest v. Leicester City (Peacock). The Goal Rush whip-around show will stream live on Peacock at 10 a.m. ET, providing viewers the most compelling action in real time and on replay so they won’t miss a single goal or key play.
At 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Brentford host Bournemouth on NBC, Peacock, and Universo.
On Sunday, Premier League Mornings begins at 8 a.m. ET on USA Network, followed at 9 a.m. ET by Chelsea hosting Crystal Palace (USA Network, Telemundo) and Fulham visiting third-place Newcastle (Peacock). The weekend’s coverage concludes at 11:30 a.m. ET as first-place Arsenal visit Tottenham in the North London Derby on Peacock. Peacock will also present Tottenham-Arsenal live in Spanish.
Rebecca Lowe hosts Saturday’s and Sunday’s Premier League Mornings, Premier League Live and Goal Zone shows alongside former Premier League and Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle and former USMNT and Premier League player Tim Howard. On Thursday, Paul Burmeister hosts alongside Howard and Danny Higginbotham. Ahmed Fareed hosts Friday’s coverage alongside Earle and Howard.
This season, Peacock will once again stream all games airing on the NBC broadcast network live. In addition, Peacock will feature studio shows, full match replays and the Premier League TV channel. All matchdays and windows exclusively on Peacock will feature NBC Sports’ Premier League studio coverage.
