After winning a prize from a Brazilian soft drinks company, 16-year-old goalkeeper Rhiannon Conelley had a difficult decision to make: take the $10,000 grand prize or have the chance to meet one of her idols, FC Barcelona winger Neymar.

The teenager from Texas didn’t think it was that tough of a decision though, she picked the meet with Neymar and brushed aside the cash.

Conelley, who is a rising star in goal for Americas High School in El Paso, Texas, will now fly to Spain next year with her mother and personal coach to meet Neymar.

So, was there any pressure from family or friends to take the cash and run? Plenty, but Conelley wasn’t giving up a chance to meet the Brazilian superstar. Not a chance.

“I just wanted to meet Neymar,” Conelley told the El Paso Times. “I thought that was more important than the $10,000. Everyone disagrees with that, but I’m sticking to my guns.”

Good for you!

Okay, so, $10,000 is a large sum of money but when is the next time you are going to get a paid trip to Barcelona and get the chance to meet Neymar? Probably never.

What would you have done in that situation?
