Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez came on for Arsenal with 20 minutes to go to try and grab a winner, but Saints had some opportunities at the other end which Shane Long should’ve done better with but he was denied by Cech.
Giroud had a header into the side-netting late on and he was then fouled in the box by Jose Fonte -- it looked to be a harsh decision with the challenge more of a coming together -- and won a penalty kick in stoppage time which Cazorla dispatched. 2-1. Gunners win.
