Manager Luis Enrique announced on Wednesday that he won’t return to the club next season following Barcelona’s 6-1 thrashing of Sporting Gijon, which temporarily puts the Blaugrana at the top of La Liga.

The 46-year-old boss took charge of the Blaugrana in 2014, and has led the club to 125 wins in that span.

Enrique’s contract is set to expire at the conclusion of the 2016/17 season, leaving the club with a decision to make heading into the following campaign.
