Chelsea’s Fabregas: “Behavior has to be better” for big money Blues

Cesc Fabregas is putting Chelsea’s struggles down to attitude, and it’s hard to argue with the midfielder.

How else can you explain the runaway Premier League champions struggling to find points in the follow-up campaign, with largely the same cast of characters?

With manager Jose Mourinho under fire and firing back, Chelsea’s midfield maestro of a season ago spoke out regarding the Blues’ problems.

From the BBC:

“We must always be at the top of our games and the behavior has to be better than what we are seeing right now from every single Chelsea player.”

Fabregas also said that given the wages they are making, Chelsea’s players need the attitude and integrity to match.

There’s little question Chelsea’s mentality isn’t right. Eden Hazard and Diego Costa are shells of their world-beating selves.

There are exceptions: John Terry’s been relatively dreadful given his lofty standards, but the talent level is largely the same at Stamford Bridge (It may even be better, with Pedro in the mix). The execution? Not so much.
