Like it or not, Manchester City fans, Martin Demichelis isn’t going anywhere.
The 34-year-old defender penned a one-year contract extension that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium through the 2015/16 season.

Demichelis, who started his career with River Plate, Bayern Munich and Malaga, is a 44-times capped Argentina international who’s made 60 appearance for City since arriving in 2013.
From MCFC.co.uk:“I want to say that I am really proud and happy to have extended my contract for another year.
“Manchester City is a club with a lot of ambition. We want to grow every year. When you get to hold a trophy, it’s the best feeling for any player.
“I want to say that I will fight for this club and for my teammates until the end of my contract. I will fight to try and win titles.”
City has played one more match than first-place Chelsea, and is five points back of the Premier League leaders. Barring an unlikely collapse -- hey, we saw one yesterday vs. PSG -- the trophies will have to wait for next season.
