After an even start at a rainy Goodison where both teams had chances but last-ditch blocks denied them, the game exploded into life with Leicester winning a penalty kick in the 27th minute.

A flick on from Jamie Vardy found Okazaki in the box and Ramiro Funes Mori hauled the Japanese striker down in the box for a clear PK. Mahrez stepped up and hesitated before slotting past Tim Howard. 1-0 to the Foxes.
