Everton snares Enner Valencia on loan from West Ham with buy option

Everton has made a number of moves since Ronald Koeman took over as manager and NBCSN's Premier League crew debates just how much better Everton has gotten.

Everton may have missed out on Moussa Sissoko, but they’ve spent half for a great complement to Romelu Lukaku.

Heading to Goodison Park is Enner Valencia, the Ecuadorian striker who scored five goals in each of his first two seasons at West Ham.

Valencia, 26, moves on a loan deal that reportedly gives the Toffees a $19 million option to buy next summer.

The forward is an integral part of Ecuador’s set-up, scoring a pair of goals at the 2014 World Cup and another two at the 2015 Copa America.

He could work wonders for Everton running off big Lukaku, and feasting on playmaking offers from Ross Barkley.

Everton also signed Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Sheffield United and loaned Aiden McGeady to Preston North End.
