After becoming the first Premier League player to reach the 20-goal mark this season in all competitions, it’s no surprise Tottenham Hotspur have signed academy product Harry Kane to a new long-term deal.
On Transfer Deadline Day Spurs only brought one new player in, more on that here, but the most significant piece of news was locking down star man Kane to a new five-and-a-half-year deal at White Hart Lane.

Since bursting onto the scene and forcing Mauricio Pochettino into getting a regular place in the team this season, Kane has become a fans favorite at Spurs and is a shoe-in to be included in the English national team for many years to come. Brushing aside Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado to become Spurs’ main striker, 21-year-old Kane has a bright future ahead of him.
