Lionel Messi’s on-field style has a knack for the theatrical, so it’s little surprise that his presence at a musical raised the stage in Argentina.
On a night off during this international break, Messi went to see a friend of his perform under the bright lights in Buenos Aires.

Instead, he pretty much became part of the show, highlighted in the crowd and then brought on stage to roars of “Mes-si! Mes-si! Mes-si!”
