Captain Wayne Rooney remains out injured after suffering an ankle problem last week, while French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is also out of the clash in Germany with injuries mounting up for the Red Devils.
Also out of the pivotal UCL clash are defenders Marcos Rojo who dislocated his shoulder in training and Phil Jones who has an ankle issue, plus midfielder Ander Herrera who suffered a hamstring injury against Watford two week ago.
So now, United head to face tough Bundesliga opponents with a smattering of teenagers on the bench and plenty of big names missing.

Guillermo Varela, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Sean Goss, Nick Powell and Andreas Pereira are all part of LVG’s 19-man squad as only a win at Wolfsburg will guarantee United’s spot in the knockout rounds of the UCL.
Tense times lie ahead for United on Tuesday, as van Gaal’s misfiring side continue to be criticized for their lack of goals and creativity in the final third.
Saturday’s 0-0 draw against West Ham United at home was their sixth in 24 games in all competitions this season and with a host of injuries to contend with, the pressure is mounting on the Dutch coach to at least see his side make it out of Group B and into the last 16 of the Champions League.
