Chelsea built a 2-0 lead, and then overcame tossing it away in a 3-2 victory over Hull City on Sunday.
Manager Jose Mourinho lauded his halftime adjustments to help Chelsea deal with Hull’s formation switch, and is pleased with what he deems his team’s best position of the season.

The Blues lead No. 2 Manchester City by six points and have played one less match than the Citizens.
“The maximum distance we’ve had is eight points with the same number of matches. Now it’s six and a match in hand with nine matches to go. After the international break will go back to one match per week, except our game in hand. I believe we can finish the season very strong.”
Chelsea next plays April 4, when the Blues hosts Stoke City.
