There are eight teams left in the Capital One Cup, with some potential banana skins for some of the Premier League biggest teams.
On Tuesday PL leaders Chelsea travel to Derby County of the English Championship, with the Blues eager to avoid what would be an embarrassing upset against the Rams. Derby are currently third in England’s second-tier and are coached by former England manager Steve McLaren. Jose Mourinho will rotate his squad for the trip to the Midlands but will be eager to make the last four of a domestic cup.

Elsewhere on Tuesday Southampton, fifth in the PL, travel to League One Sheffield United in front of a packed house at Bramall Lane. Saints have lost four-straight games in the PL but are the heavy favorites in this one. Can the Blades knock out a second PL team in the League Cup this season?
On Wednesday Liverpool travel to the surprise leaders of the Championship, Bournemouth. Brendan Rodgers’ side are under plenty of pressure and if they lose on the South Coast, their terrible season will hit a new low. To round off the quarterfinal matches two PL teams clash at White Hart Lane as Tottenham host Newcastle on Wednesday. The Magpies have already gone to Tottenham and won 2-1 in the PL this season. Can they repeat that feat to make the last four?
