Over the next two days the Capital One Cup will take center stage as the Premier League big boys enter at the third round stage.

The eight PL clubs involved in European action this season enter at the third round stage, while plenty of local derbies and potential banana skins litter the way to reaching the last 16.

Headlining Tuesday is a Birmingham derby between Aston Villa and Birmingham City, with the latter having a bright start to the season in English soccer’s second tier and aiming for a shock win over their bitter rivals.

On Wednesday, we have a North London derby as Tottenham Hotspur host Arsenal as last season’s runners up will be hoping to go far in the League Cup once again. Can Arsene Wenger’s men rebound from that defeat to Chelsea at the weekend?

Elsewhere, there are tricky ties for both Liverpool and Chelsea to negotiate, as Brendan Rodgers’ side host fourth-tier Carlisle United (the lowest-ranked team left in the competition) at Anfield, while holders Chelsea head to third-tier Walsall.

There is also a South London derby as Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic square off at Selhurst Park, while three all-PL ties see Manchester City head to Sunderland, Norwich host West Brom and Leicester City against West Ham. If it’s Americans Abroad you want to keep an eye on, then on Tuesday we have Danny Williams’ Reading hosting Tim Howard’s Everton, while Geoff Cameron’s Stoke City head to Craven Cottage to face Tim Ream’s Fulham.

Below is the schedule for the next two days, as you can follow all the scores live on our scoreboard by either clicking here, or on the link above.
