No one’s sleeping on Leicester City anymore, and if they are it’s because we’re all involved in a dream.
Jamie Vardy’s sensational goal broke a deadlock at King Power Stadium, and he later added another as Leicester City stayed atop the league with a 2-0 win on Tuesday.
Leicester sits first with 50 points, while Liverpool sinks to eighth.

The match wasn’t lacking for excitement, as Claudio Ranieri and Jurgen Klopp countered counters with counters.
It took an hour for either side to break through.
Simon Mignolet stuffed out a trademark Leicester City counter when he leapt to tip Shinji Okazaki’s header over the bar in the 8th minute.
Both sides were aiming forward all day, “tails up” as they like to say. It made for some breakneck viewing, but goals weren’t coming at King Power.
Mignolet made another great save when Riyad Mahrez cranked a whirling, dipping shot from 25 yards that the Belgian slapped away.

The exciting game got the goal it deserved when Vardy scored an English goal scorer’s goal that would make Alan Shearer proud.
Moments after Liverpool nearly conceded a penalty, Vardy tipped a deflected shot from Okazaki past Mignolet to make the Reds’ task harder.
