Leicester, QPR, Burnley players earn England call-ups for June matches

Charlie Austin has gone from bricklayer to lion.

The 25-year-old QPR striker, whose career began with stints at Kintbury Rangers, Hungerford Town and Poole Town, has earned his first England call-up.

And the cool storylines don’t stop there. Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy, a verifiable tornado for the Foxes, and Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton will join Austin and the Three Lions for next month’s matches against Slovenia and the Republic of Ireland.
