Leicester signs Poland attacker Bartosz Kapustka
With one big star already departed from Leicester City this summer and a second still rumored to be on his way out, the Foxes have continued to bolster the squad’s depth in the event that they lose some of their big names.
On Wednesday, the club announced the signing of 19-year-old winger Bartosz Kapustka from Polish club Cracovia.
During his time with Cracovia, the young attacker made over 60 appearances for the club while also earning his first call up to the Poland national team in 2015.
Kapustka was also a selection for Poland for this summer’s EURO 2016 squad. The winger is the fifth player to sign for Leicester this summer, and could be a viable replacement in the future if Riyad Mahrez exits the club.
Mahrez is still being rumored with a move to Arsenal, and the addition of Kapustka gives manager Claudio Ranieri options in the event that the Algerian does leave.
