USMNT fans no doubt recall Marlos Moreno from the Copa America Centenario, and now Europe is going to get to know him better.

The Manchester Evening News reports that Manchester City has captured -- mandatory Pokemon joke -- the 19-year-old winger, and will immediately send him on loan to La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna.

Moreno has 7 caps, and scored his first goal for Colombia when he netted the match-winner against Costa Rica in group play of this summer’s Copa America.

From the Manchester Evening News:

Moreno is expected to sign a five-year deal for the player, who played for his country as they finished third at the recent Copa America and has been one of the stars of Atletico’s run to the Copa Libertadores semi-finals, the South American equivalent of the Champions League.

The rich get richer, if in fact this comes to pass at the Etihad Stadium. Deportivo struggled to find goals in finishing 15th last season, so Moreno should have every chance to develop in Spain.
