Jurgen Klinsmann has named his U.S. national team squad for the huge Confederations Cup playoff match against Mexico on Saturday and now El Tri have followed suit.

Update: Mexico and LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos is out through injury in a big boost for the USMNT.

The one-off CONCACAF game to decide who will represent the region at the 2017 Confederations Cup will take place at the Pasadena Rose Bowl (9 p.m. ET) in one of the most eagerly anticipated clashes between the USA and Mexico in living memory.

After winning the 2013 Gold Cup, the U.S. face 2015 Gold Cup champs Mexico for the right to play in Russia in 2017.

Mexico’s interim coach Ricardo Ferretti -- remember, Miguel Herrera was fired as Mexico’s boss following in the summer after an altercation with a journalist at Philadelphia Airport less than 48 hours after he led El Tri to Gold Cup glory -- has named an experienced squad for the crucial clash, as 36-year-old Rafael Marquez makes it, as does captain Andres Guardado who has been struggling with an injury he picked up for PSV Eindhoven against Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League.
