The MLS Expansion Draft is in the books, with Orlando City SC and New York City FC pilfering players from the unprotected lists of fellow MLS teams.
Orlando City began the draft with a pretty big surprise, snaring 37-year-old goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts from Portland despite already trading for Tally Hall from Houston.
New York City made a pair of solid picks right off the bat, snaring Ned Grabavoy from Real Salt Lake and Patrick Mullins from New England. The Revolution was the first team to have two players taken when Tony Taylor was selected in the fifth round.
