Sebastian Lletget is returning home to the United States after a six-year stay with West Ham United.
This week’s rumors turned out to be true, as the 22-year-old Lletget is now a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy.
A California native, Lletget found it difficult to break into the West Ham lineup, only finding time in a Cup match. He never found the pitch for a Premier League match.
From LAGalaxy.com:“Sebastian is a young, talented attacking player who we think can find success in our team,” said LA Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena. “We’re happy to have him return to his home state to join the Galaxy and we look forward to his contributions going forward.”

Internationally, Lletget has made multiple appearances for U.S. Men’s National Team youth sides, including call ups to the USMNT U-17’s, U-20’s and U-23’s.
This will certainly give Lletget a faster path to recognition under his national team coach. Jurgen Klinsmann isn’t likely to call up a man who can’t get a minute in England, but playing alongside Gyasi Zardes, Omar Gonzalez, Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane could certainly be a boon for the youngster.
