The game in 100 words (or less): There can be no team in MLS more fun to watch at this very moment than the LA Galaxy — they score goals (some really great goals, as you’ll see below) and they’re not afraid to get into an end-to-end, track-meet shootout with their opponents on any given night. Fortunately for them, they’ve got the deepest pool of game-changing talent in all the league as well, and they needed every last bit of it on Sunday, as Bruce Arena’s bunch raced out to a 3-0 lead on the New England Revolution, only to see it out at 4-2 following a pair of stunning Revolution goals that ultimately turned out to be nothing more than late consolation tallies. Robbie Keane returned from nearly two months out following knee surgery, scoring twice in the process. Giovani dos Santos scored winner — one you’ll be seeing for days and weeks to come — and Steven Gerrard put the game away with two minutes remaining in stoppage time. Kelyn Rowe and Juan Agudelo did the too-little-too-late damage for the Revs, who remain eighth in the Eastern Conference. The Galaxy are now second in the Western Conference, two points behind the Colorado Rapids.

Three Four Five moments that mattered
13' — Keane marks his return with a tap-in — Gyasi Zardes’s cross rolls past two Revs defenders inside their own six-yard box, and neither of them think it wise to put a foot through the ball.
The King is back! It only took 13 minutes for Robbie Keane to get back to his scoring ways. @LAGalaxy up 1-0 #LAvNE https://t.co/Llab8r6DJo

24' — Dos Santos smashes a volley from 22 yards out — “Why did they give Dos Santos nearly $6 million per year,” they asked. “Because I can do things like this,” he said.
That hit. Speechless.

Giovani Dos Santos scores a stunner to double the lead. #LAvNE https://t.co/jZEKVvSHbT
45+1' — Keane’s taps in for 3-0 — Seriously, guys, you don’t have to make it this easy for Keane. He’s capable of scoring stunning goals, but he’ll take tap-ins like this all day if you give it to him.
Easy peasy. https://t.co/OzVncCJRy3 #LAvNE https://t.co/AqfYM0QV9o

67' — Rowe hammers on past Rowe to trim the lead — Closing down a player of Rowe’s ability would probably be wise, if you’re the Galaxy defense. They didn’t, so he did this.
70' — Agudelo scores another beauty to make it 3-2 — Agudelo doesn’t score “bad” goals, does he? It seems like every time he puts the ball in the back of the net, our jaws are on the floor and our minds racing with “what if he could just do this all the time?”
Game on in Los Angeles. Juan Agudelo brings it back within one with this cool finish. @LAGalaxy lead 3-2 #LAvNE https://t.co/rvF9oN23rk
