The game in 100 words (or less): A pair of young strikers, Toronto FC’s Jordan Hamilton and the Seattle Sounders’ Jordan Morris, scored goals 68 seconds apart either side of the hour mark as the two sides played to a 1-1 draw at BMO Field on Saturday. TFC, without a number of key starters (Michael Bradley, Will Johnson and Jozy Altidore, to name a few) due to injury, and the Sounders, in a similar boat (Clint Dempsey, Brad Evans and eventually Chad Marshall), will happily accept a point apiece and go their separate ways after combining to allow just six shots on target over the 90 minutes (three for either side). The draw sees TFC (20 points from 16 games) climb back above Orlando City SC for sixth place in the Eastern Conference, while the Sounders (17 points from 16 games) remain ninth in the Western Conference with a whole lot of work ahead (six points back of sixth-place LA Galaxy, and five points back of seventh- and eighth-place Sporting Kansas City and San Jose Earthquakes).

Three moments that mattered

60' — Hamilton smashes home a loose ball for 1-0 — Sebastian Giovinco pulled the Sounders defense this way and that way, and when the ball fell to the ground inside the penalty area, young Jordan Hamilton pounced.

61' — Morris ties it up with a beautiful curler — That ball from Joevin Jones. That finish by Jordan Morris. That pretty soccer from Seattle.

88' — Bloom clears it off the goal line for TFC — The line between brilliant goal-line clearance and catastrophic own goal is oh so fine.
