FC Dallas v Toronto FC

The game in 100 words (or less): It was always going to be difficult to get a result without Sebastian Giovinco, but Toronto FC didn’t quit and found a way to pull out a draw in the dying minutes of the match. Bradley Wright-Phillips looked like the game’s biggest star for much of the evening, but it was Jozy Altidore that stole the spotlight in the final half hour and gave the home side a share of the points, keeping Toronto atop the Eastern Conference. The Red Bulls move up to second place with the result, but Jesse Marsch and the Red Bulls will be infuriated with themselves for conceding another lead late in a match.

Three four five moments that mattered

12' - Dangerous Felipe cross hands Red Bulls lead — The Brazilian has been instrumental in many Red Bulls attacks this season, and it was his driven ball into the penalty area that forced Steven Beitashour to guide it into his own net.

31' — BWP doubles lead after Zavaleta mistake — It doesn’t get much easier than this one for Bradley Wright-Phillips. Make it 19 goals on the year now.

41' — Michael Bradley nets first goal of 2016 — Just as one Bradley missed on the other end of the field, it was Michael Bradley who pulled one back for the home side minutes before halftime.

48' — Visitors strike early after halftime — When you give Wright-Phillips that much space, he’s going to make you pay. And now he’s up to 20 on the year.

68' — Altidore with a moment of magic — Down two goals for the second time on the night, the U.S. international gave Toronto an emphatic lifeline from his free kick.
