Jose Mourinho knows there’s a gigantic bullseye on Manchester United’s back in the UEFA Europa League.

The Red Devils didn’t handle it well on Thursday in Rotterdam, where Feyenoord used a late goal from Tonny Vilhena to win the group stage game 1-0.

The manager says the Feyenoord’s desire to play defensively, coupled with an offside goal and lack of United finishing, is what drew the line between the two sides. He said United was “always in control”.

“The second half was better than the first. We had more intensity than the first half because in the first my players were in control without pushing to try but the second was different. Feyenoord defended with everything, a great crowd, a great spirit we know that. We know that in the Europa League everyone wants to play Man United, everyone wants to fight until their limits, which they did. They had the luck to score in the last part of the game.”

Next up in the Europa League is a visit from Zorya Luhansk on Sept. 29. The Ukrainian side drew Fenerbahce 1-1 on Thursday in Luhansk.
