O’Neil broods as drug test keeps him from celebrating first win since January

Norwich City got a massive win on Saturday, and Gary O’Neil couldn’t even celebrate the achievement.

Robbie Brady’s goal allowed the visitors to snare three points against Tony Pulis’ mercurial West Bromwich Albion, moving the Canaries out of the drop zone.

It was Norwich’s first win since Jan. 2, a run of 11 matches -- 10 in the Premier League -- in which they scooped up a total of two points.

On 28 points, 17th place Norwich now leads Sunderland and Newcastle, who play Sunday at St. James Park, by three and four points respectively, and hosts the Magpies next week.

So how did O’Neil celebrate? With a urine test.

First win in ages and get pulled for a drugs test!! Sat in a little room 😡. Can hear the lads enjoying it through the wall tho 👍🏻 #ncfc
