For every point lost or chance seemingly squandered, Spurs are sitting in the Top Four on Boxing Day.

Harry Kane scored twice and Tom Carroll added a third as the North London club controlled the play and the scoreboard in a 3-0 home win over Norwich City on Saturday.

Dele Alli added yet another Premier League assist on the day, and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino came as close as he could to gushing after the win.

From the BBC:

“I am very happy. I think we need to feel proud. The performance from the players was perfect. Only the first 15 minutes was difficult but we managed the game very well.

“It is difficult to speak more about Harry Kane. For me, he needs to keep working hard and keep showing his qualities in the games. Dele Alli is another player we are very happy with but it is about the team and they showed confidence in how we played.”

Watford, Everton and Leicester City are up next for Spurs, who’ve posted back-to-back clean-sheet wins after their unexpected loss to Newcastle United.
